Model Overview & Print Notes
Summary I constantly use hex keys in my assembly work. Over time, the original case that came with the set started falling apart; the factory-supplied ones are flimsy, causing the keys to slip out or even get lost—which is incredibly annoying. I decided to design my own case to eliminate these flaws. After a few attempts and experimental prototypes, I arrived at this model. It features a design that is easy to print and assemble. The resulting case is durable and keeps the keys securely in place; I also added slots for screwdriver bits. It includes a few handy features, too—such as magnets for conveniently holding bolts or keys, which also allow the case to be mounted on a metal wall. Magnets: 2 pcs, 10x40. Key slots are as shown in the photo; if they are larger, it doesn't matter—the inner layer (made of TPU or packaging foam) will compress around them anyway.
