Delete your MakerSpell account
This page explains how MakerSpell users can request permanent deletion of their account and associated data.
How to request deletion
- In the app: open MakerSpell and go to Settings → Account → Delete account, then review the warning and confirm. Authenticated deletion starts immediately.
- Without access to the app: submit the form below using the email address associated with your MakerSpell account. We may ask you to verify account ownership. Verified web requests are completed within 30 days.
Data deleted by MakerSpell
When deletion is completed, MakerSpell permanently deletes the account-linked data it controls:
- Supabase authentication account, account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image reference;
- MakerSpell profile, preferences, usage counters, and app statistics;
- Google Drive connection metadata and tokens held by MakerSpell;
- MakerSpell-side subscription entitlements, purchase tokens, receipts, and migration records;
- Support messages, attached screenshots, and privacy-filtered diagnostic events linked to the account.
Data not deleted or temporarily retained
- Your Google Drive files: files in your own Drive remain there until you delete them from Google Drive. MakerSpell does not own those files.
- Google Play or App Store records: subscriptions must be cancelled separately in the relevant store. The store may retain transaction records under its own policy and legal obligations.
- Deletion and support requests: requests that are not deleted with an authenticated account are kept while they are being handled and for up to 90 days after they are resolved or closed, then deleted together with their attachments.
- Infrastructure backups: residual copies may remain in encrypted rolling backups for up to 30 days before automatic expiry.
- Security logs: limited, non-content server security logs may be retained for up to 30 days, then deleted or aggregated so they are no longer linked to an account.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active store subscription or remove files stored in a third-party account you control.
