Home is a single search box over 20+ model platforms: MakerWorld, Printables, Thingiverse, Thangs, Cults3D, MyMiniFactory, Creality Cloud, Snapmaker, Nexprint, Pinshape, CGTrader, GrabCAD, Sketchfab, FAB, FAB365, Pixup3D, PrintPal, MakeItReal and Makeroad. Availability varies by source and region.

1. Type what you want to print. Results stream in from every platform you selected.
2. Use the platform chips to narrow to one community, or stay in multi-platform mode.
3. Filter and sort the merged results, then tap any card to open its detail page.
4. Save items to Favorites; recent searches stay one tap away.

First launch asks what you mainly do (Discover, Slice, Printer, Shop, Favorites) and shapes the home screen around it. It is never a lock: change it any time in Settings.

Every model page shows images, description, creator, comments and print profiles where the source provides them. The license block is the most important part of this screen.

1. Read the license and the commercial-use line before downloading anything.
2. Tap translate to read supported model information in your language. Machine text stays visually separate from the source.
3. Check print profiles and comments for real-world printability hints.
4. Tap download to fetch the files into the app library. The platform link opens the original page when you need the full context.

MakerSpell does not host model files and cannot grant rights. Licenses stay the responsibility of creators and users.

Downloads open in the built-in 3D viewer. STL, OBJ and 3MF projects are supported, including multi-plate 3MF archives where you can switch plates and add new ones.

1. Orbit and zoom to inspect the geometry for obvious problems.
2. For 3MF archives, flip through the plates to confirm every part is there.
3. Decide: prepare it for printing, or go back to discovery.

A short coach-mark tour explains the workspace on your first visit. Replay it any time from the viewer menu.

The workspace gives you desktop-style tools: move, rotate, scale, mirror, cut and simplify, with undo, redo and an orientation cube.

1. Arrange the parts on the plate and set the orientation for strength and surface quality.
2. Pick the printer, filament and process profiles. Embedded 3MF process overrides can be reviewed and applied.
3. Check material details such as printing temperature per filament.

Profiles drive everything downstream. If a print misbehaves, the printer plus filament plus process combination is the first place to look.

Slicing runs on your device with an OrcaSlicer-derived native engine. No desktop, no cloud round-trip, your model never leaves the phone for slicing.

1. Tap slice and wait for the progress indicator. Long jobs can be cancelled any time.
2. Review estimated print time, filament use in grams and metres, weight and the selected plate.
3. Open the G-code preview to sanity-check the toolpath.
4. Export the G-code file, or send the job straight to a printer.

Free includes 5 catalog projects and 3 local projects per week, plus 10 welcome projects. A short rewarded video unlocks slicing for 24 hours when the quota runs out. On low-memory devices a dedicated low-memory mode keeps the job running and says so.

Printers are discovered on your local network and can also be added manually. Supported ecosystems include Creality, Snapmaker, Bambu Lab, Anycubic, QIDI, Elegoo, FlashForge and Prusa, plus Moonraker, OctoPrint, Duet, Repetier Server, AstroBox, ESP3D, MKS and FlashAir adapters.

1. Add your printer from the printers shortcut and confirm it shows online.
2. Upload G-code, start supported jobs and map multi-material slots where available.
3. Follow status, progress, temperatures, warnings and camera feeds from the printer page.
4. Open Print Center for active jobs, ready jobs, history and whole-farm progress with notifications.

Controls are gated by community-verified capability rules per model. Unsupported actions show as unavailable instead of failing, and you can approve or improve the rules after real testing. Compatibility varies by model, firmware and protocol.

Downloads, favorites, recently viewed models and print history live in dedicated tabs, so nothing gets lost between discovery and the next reprint.

1. Find finished downloads and slice outputs in the library.
2. Reprint from history or pick up where you left off in recents.
3. Optionally back up eligible files to your own Google Drive. Backup can be paused and resumed; pending items appear in notifications.

Clearing the cache never touches downloads or account data.

Shop is a separate, optional flow for sellers. Connect Trendyol, Shopify or WooCommerce stores; credentials stay in encrypted device storage.

1. Build listings from your own STL, 3MF or OBJ files and reuse embedded previews.
2. Manage drafts, images, store connections and publication status.
3. Price with formulas covering material, packaging, shipping, commission, tax, labor and target margin.

Only your own files belong here, and only successful publications consume the weekly allowance. Shop stays out of the way unless you enable it.
