Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the MakerSpell mobile application and related services.

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using MakerSpell, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian should review these terms with you.

Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under it.
• Each user may have only one active account unless authorized by MakerSpell in writing.
• Account information must be accurate and up-to-date.

Subscriptions and payments

• MakerSpell offers free and paid subscription tiers. Subscription details, pricing, and feature access are described on the app's pricing page and may change.
• Purchases through Google Play are governed by Google Play's billing policies; purchases through the App Store are governed by Apple's billing policies. Cancellations and refunds follow store rules.
• All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

User content

You retain ownership of any files, projects, or models you upload or back up via MakerSpell. By using the service, you grant MakerSpell a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to provide and improve the service.

Third-party platforms

MakerSpell integrates with third-party marketplaces, printer services, Google Drive, Google Sign-In, and other external APIs. Those integrations are subject to each platform's own terms. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, data practices, or enforcement actions.

Intellectual property

The MakerSpell name, logo, branding, source code, UI design, documentation, and proprietary files are owned by MakerSpell or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without prior written permission, except as allowed by applicable law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Bypass security controls, authentication, rate limits, or payment requirements;
• Use the service to transmit illegal content, malware, or spam;
• Automate scraping or bulk-download behavior that violates the terms of a linked marketplace;
• Impersonate another person, misrepresent the origin of content, or interfere with the experience of other users.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent behavior, or repeatedly trigger abuse protections. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends immediately. Some obligations survive termination.

Data deletion requests

You can request account-level or selective data deletion. Please refer to our Privacy Policy, the Account Deletion page, and the Delete Selected Data page for full details.

No warranty

MakerSpell is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement. Because the app interacts with printers and physical processes, we do not guarantee results from specific slices, prints, or connected hardware configurations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakerSpell and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or use of the service, including damaged equipment or failed prints.

Modifications

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated inside the app or by email. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, excluding conflict-of-law principles.
