Download and run MakerSpell-Setup.exe. No admin rights required; installs silently to your user folder.

Auto Registration
MakerSpell launches automatically and binds the native com.makerspell.app:// URI handler to Windows.

Relaunch Browser
Close and restart your web browser so it picks up the newly registered desktop protocol scheme.

1-Click Launch
Click "Open in MakerSpell" on any model page to view and slice directly from your desktop.

Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
To ensure the custom URL protocol (`com.makerspell.app://`) is registered by your browser:
- Restart your web browser completely: Chrome, Edge, and Firefox cache scheme registries. Close all windows and relaunch.
- Reset protocol permissions: If you previously clicked "Block" or "Cancel" on the browser prompt, click the lock icon in the address bar to reset permissions.
- Verify the app has been launched once: Launch MakerSpell at least once so it registers itself with the Windows registry.
