3D Printer Compatibility
MakerSpell is built on open standards and supports all major desktop 3D printer brands and firmware systems.
1. Universal Hardware Philosophy
Unlike walled-garden printer applications that lock you into a single marketplace, MakerSpell works with any printer that accepts standard G-code, STL, 3MF, or OBJ files. We connect with 25+ model platforms and export directly to your favorite slicer.
2. Supported FDM Printer Ecosystems
Full compatibility with Bambu Lab (X1, P1S, A1, A1 Mini), Creality (K1, K1 Max, Ender-3 V3, Ender-3 S1), Prusa (MK4, MINI+, XL), Anycubic (Kobra 2, Kobra 3), Elegoo (Neptune 3/4), Voron 2.4/Trident, and Snapmaker (Artisan, 2.0, U1).
3. Supported Resin (SLA / MSLA / DLP) Printers
Elegoo Mars & Saturn series, Anycubic Photon Mono series, Phrozen Sonic series, and Creality Halot series. Models found on MakerSpell can be sent directly to Chitubox, Lychee Slicer, or PrusaSlicer (SLA mode).
4. Material Compatibility
From standard PLA and PETG to engineering-grade materials like ABS, ASA, TPU (flexible), Polycarbonate (PC), Nylon (PA), and Carbon Fiber composites. Use MakerSpell's search filters to find models optimized for flexible filaments or high-strength mechanical requirements.
5. Build Volume & Size Checking
Before sending a model to your printer, MakerSpell displays verified 3D bounding dimensions. If a model exceeds your printer's build volume (e.g. 180x180x180mm on A1 Mini or Prusa MINI), you can scale or split it in OrcaSlicer using cut tools.
6. Firmware & Control Protocols
Compatible with Klipper / Moonraker / Mainsail / Fluidd, RepRapFirmware, Marlin, OctoPrint, and manufacturer cloud protocols. Pair our desktop application for auto-discovery of local network printers.
