Summary These are just remixes of Igniz's models. I modified them because I had a specific project I was working on and wanted to "skeletonize" some of them. Because of this, there are various length handguards and barrels. It is up to you to determine which handguard and barrel combo you want to print for your build and the look you are going for. I've had a few requests for the files I used in my YouTube videos, so here they are! :) Read these Juicy TIPS before printing BUILD VIDEOS : Here are some videos of using the actual models in an airsoft build, I would encourage you to make a video or take some photos if you challenge yourself to build this, we all want to see your build, seriously. Here is a video of a build using some of the skeletonized parts : Build Video | Skeletonized Here is a video of a build using the longer 2-piece barrel : Build Video | 2-Piece Barrel BARREL LENGTH : The length of the Outer Barrel determines what Inner Barrel length you will need, or vice versa , so if you want the outer barrel to cover the entire length of the inner barrel make sure you look at the file name to see what length inner barrel you will need to use. Here are some examples: If you download this part: Skeletonized_Barrel_For_280mmInnerBarrel.stl , You will need to have a 280mm inner barrel If you download this part: ExtendedVersion_For_363mmInnerBarrel_2PieceBarrel_Main.stl , You will need to have a 363mm inner barrel Pair this with the matching extension : ExtendedVersion_For_363mmInnerBarrel_2PieceBarrel_Extension.stl If you download this part: ExtendedVersion_For_430mmInnerBarrel_2PieceBarrel_Main.stl , You will need to have a 430mm inner barrel Pair this with the matching extension : ExtendedVersion_For_430mmInnerBarrel_2PieceBarrel_Extension.stl NOTES : I have printed these on an X1 Carbon and an H2D, all parts can be printed on either. I have not tested other printers so check your build volume to make sure you can fit some of the bigger parts, you can try reorienting them as well. The word "skeletonized" is added to just about every model/part: It's just the naming convention I was using with this project, it doesn't mean that every part has holes poked in it, just that it was part of the same project. All barrels I have included are threaded to fit Acetech's reverse threaded tracer units (Bifrost, Bifrost BT, Blaster, Blaster C, etc.) , but not tested with the Quick-Disconnect (QD) versions. If you want the original barrel please visit Igniz's profile, he also has a muzzle device model that's pretty cool. These barrels will also work with that muzzle device, it just clamps on over the threaded part. Make sure you orient the parts to get the cleanest print, I have tried to orient them all for you, but I may have missed some, actually I probably missed a lot. The Extended Version of the handguard can be printed in one piece vertically on an H2D and makes for a VERY clean print. However, on an X1 Carbon it must be printed horizontally and rotated diagonally on the build plate. I have not tested on other printers. Any of the parts I've modified will also work with Igniz's original files so you can mix-and-match to your heart's content. Also useful if I've forgotten to include a part...then you can find it on his parts list, which also includes a diagram of where to put the bolts for strength, and which sizes/how many you will need, which is VERY IMPORTANT .
