Summary 12mm Dovetail Rail Stock for Handgun Complete rifle stock for handguns and airguns with 12mm dovetail rails. Uses the same 12mm dovetail so you can still attach a scope or red dot as you please. Currently only for large size printers, printable in 2 parts. Might be available in more parts for smaller 3D printers later. Designed specifically for my Umarex T4E TP50 Compact, because this model does not have any other ways to attach stuff. The TP50 Compact does not have a rifle stock. But printable rifle stock can be used on any other handgun or airgun as well if it has a 12mm dovetail rail on it. Uses less than 200 grams of PLA filament when printing standard or draft quality. You can make the model more solid but it will use more filament as well. Airguns usually barely have any recoil, but make the print more solid when using it for real handguns with blowback. Gun requirements The handgun you'd like to use this for is required to have: 12mm : universal dovetail rail 10-15cm : dovetail rail length (optimal) no obstructions behind pistol grip Slicer instructions Calibrate using small M/F pieces Lay model flat on build plate Use supports for dovetail parts Double-check sizes in slicer Use the tiny male and female dovetail pieces to calibrate your printer. You can use these pieces to find the optimal scale for your print to fit perfectly on your airgun or handgun, before printing the entire model. I've printed the entire project using less than 165g of PLA filament. A vertical orientation requires a little more support material and improves the quality of this model, but printing time increases significantly. Assembly instructions Slide the stock onto the front-piece and slide the front-piece over the 12mm dovetail on your handgun/airgun. Use the tiny female dovetail part as a spacer if you find your thumb not having enough space on the gun grip! The front-piece also has a 12mm dovetail rail on top, so you can still connect your favorite scope or red dot if you like. Works the same as the 12mm dovetail on the gun! My own printer For this rifle stock project I used my Anycubic Kobra 3 Max with ACE Pro filament dryer. I used regular "traffic yellow" colored, generic PLA filaments from TM3D in the Netherlands.
