Summary 👇👉 Type C Case available below: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7107252 👇👉 For more details on the “Cell REpower –DIY Power Bank from the Battery Used in a Samsung A51 4G (3890 mAh) x2 and x3" shown in the photo, visit: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7115117 Description: This is a remix of “LiPo cell-based 9V battery (NEDA1604) with USB-C charger.” https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6994117 Although this is a remix, I designed it from scratch with slightly higher capacity and a more compact size. I added a toggle switch that lets you slide to turn the battery ON = ◎ (Convex circle) or OFF ◉ (Concave CIrcle). Turning the switch off prevents natural battery drain, which helps preserve battery life over time. If I may add something, this project is basically nothing more difficult than “connecting wires and modules.” Once completed, though, it can be really handy in everyday life and fun!! Being not an electrical engineer, I do not know that much about designing PCBs, and my soldering work is not that great as shown in the photos. But I really love this kind of hobby (3D + electronic modules). No matter your age—kid or senior—trying it at least once can be a lot of fun, and I highly recommend giving it a shot. Cheers! Assembly Instructions: Print all STL files. You may see some remaining support material above the switch slot—carefully clean it up with a cutter. Solder a LiPo battery to the back of the 'J5019' step-up module. (Red line of the Lipo battery to 'Bat +', Black line to 'Bat -' Solder a black wire to VO- and a red wire to VO+, each about 2.5 inches long. Adjust the potentiometer with a screwdriver while using a multimeter, and set it to 9V. ⚠️ Sorry — the photo shows the J5019 mounted on 9VLB_CenterFrame.stl, but please don’t mount it on the '9VLB_CenterFrame.stl' yet. First, ⚡️ adjust the voltage + 🔥🛠️ desolder and solder the resistor, then mount it. My apologies 🙂 ⚠️ Warning: If you don't replace the resistor, the 500mAh LiPo battery may suffer reduced lifespan or permanent damage. Replacement is mandatory. Desolder the "ProG" resistor (1.2KΩ, usually labeled R3) and replace it with a resistor with a resistance range of 3.3KΩ to 5KΩ (preferably 0603 SMD or 1/4W through-hole. I used a 3.3KΩ resistor in both 1/4W Metal Film and 6030 SMD formats, one for each color model). Mount the 'J5019' module and battery onto the '9VLB_CenterFrame.stl'. Insert the 'SS-12D00 (1P2T) toggle switch' vertically into the slot on '9VLB_CenterFrame.stl'. Leave about 3–4mm of the toggle above the switch and cut off the rest. Bend the 3 pins upward, leave the middle pin straight, and slightly spread them apart. Solder the black VO- wire to the first (side) pin of the switch. Solder the black wire from the '9V battery clip' to the middle pin of the switch. Solder the red wire from the '9V battery clip' to the VO+ red wire (use hot glue to secure the solder joints). Carefully insert the '9VLB_Body.stl' into the 9VLB_CenterFrame.stl (it fits tightly, go slowly). If it doesn’t fit well, you can try: Trimming the switch ends a bit more, or slightly twsisting the 9V clip to help it fit better. Check the orientation — the clip has a notch. Be sure the bent lines are properly seated in the notch. Check the voltage output (should be 9V). If correct, glue the '9VLB_TopCover.stl' using superglue to complete the assembly. Insert '9VLB_Button.stl' onto the toggle switch. Make sure the orientation is correct—the width is longer than the height. Insert '9VLB_LEDCover.stl' into the LED hole (Clear or White PLA).
