I made this extension for a couple of reasons.  I raised our shower heads and the caddy then was up too high.  Also - the top shelf was always useless because the shower head essentially sat right in it.  This lowers the caddy so it is easier to reach and also so you can use the top shelf.  The best part - you don't have to remove the shower head!  I designed it so the knob threads onto a split post which allows you to slip over the shower pipe and then secure it.   I used Prusament PETG for the caddy extension and knob and Fiberlogy 40D for the rubber bumper.  I printed the PETG @ 100% infill for strength and the bumper at 30% This works great - you can reverse the assembly so the knob threads on from behind if you prefer (opposite of the picture)
