This model is based on the entry 7r5k from the protein data bank (PDB), presented in this publication: Mosalaganti, S., Obarska-Kosinska, A., Siggel, M., Taniguchi, R., Turoňová, B., Zimmerli, C. E., ... & Beck, M. (2022). AI-based structure prediction empowers integrative structural analysis of human nuclear pores. Science , 376 (6598), eabm9506. The model is designed for multi-extruder printers like Prusa XL. Different parts of the pore are highlighted in different colors. It could also be printed in one color on a single-extruder printer. The 3mf file contains a pre-cut model with two halves that can be printed seperately and glued together. Paint-on support keeps the top part of the half stable. Standard earring hooks can be clipped into the loop on one side of the model.
