🔥 NEW 2025 DESIGN AVAILABLE: The official, newly improved version of the Dino-Clip is now available for download on Etsy !  It features an updated Dinosaur design, improved strength, and flawless break-away support removal.  The new print-in-place uses a ‘Support Skin’ technique, which allows the support to snap away cleanly, leaving a perfectly smooth finish.    Find it here on Etsy  I was first inspired by Andrei’s brilliant Bag Clip , which I consider one of the most clever print-in-place designs I’ve ever seen!  A Brilliant mechanical design that printed PERFECTLY in place! That curiosity pushed me to explore cam mechanisms in SolidWorks, analyzing the geometry and motion that make them so efficient. After dozens of iterations refining tolerances, proportions, and aesthetics, the design evolved into what’s now known as the Dino-Clip . Printing tips: Best results with 0.2 mm layers at 20% infill .  PETG recommended for thebest Strength After printing, remove the support and squeeze the jaws like a nutcracker to loosen the motion. The deeper the bag goes into the mouth, the tighter the grip — adjust for thickness.
