Bushings for Evolve GTR esk8 - Easiest TPU print

Model Overview & Print Notes

These models reproduce the geometry of the original bushings on an Evolve GTR electric longboard. Drawing was done in Blender, printing was done with TPU 95A, that is the exact hardness I've been riding lately. So, in PrusaSlicer: 225°C, 1,3 extrusion multiplier, 0,2mm layer height, 20mm/s printing speed, all concentric perimeters. Parts came out really nice, but I haven't tested them on the board, so WARNING and DISCLAIMER: print them as you like, but use them at your own risk, I provide no warranty and I decline any and all liability whatsoever. For softer bushings I guess one could reduce the number of perimeters and add dense infill, such as 5 perimeters and 70% infill… I haven't tested any of this! Please let me know if you have tested anything alike. I'll update the description with field testing feedback (if the protocol is safe enough…). I do not expect these first prints to last much, at least that is what I was told by most people, but I just cannot resist giving this a try, I get to make my bushing set for less than 2€ of material instead of buying them for 40€… I hope you'll enjoy this model, have a great print and awesome rides.   UPDATE: I test rode 13km with one set in the front truck, road side. I did not notice any difference with off the shelf 95A bushings when riding. Post-test inspection shows no sign of wear or tear. Next test is to mount two sets at the front. To be continued…  NEW UPDATE: After 55km with one set in the front truck, road side, I inspected the printed bushings and they were as good as new, not the slightest sign of wear or tear. I then tried all eight printed bushings and I was hardly able to turn. I still went for a 10km ride with very loose trucks but it wasn't good at all, 100% infill came out a lot harder than the 95A I had already. Is my TPU harder than advertised? Is it related to the printing process? I may run some new tests with less infill…
