Yes, the model is meant to be partially sunk into the print bed. I designed it this way to reduce the number of required supports. Without further ado, here is  Version 2  of my earlier  sleeping dragon high detail miniature book dnd,  designed to rest on a book. here a link to that model  This new version requires significantly fewer supports and features a low-poly style to give it a more unique look. The few supports that remain are minimal and very easy to remove. its A fun trinket to put on top of books and free to sell hope you like it
