Model Overview & Print Notes
Flexi Fabric Fidget Description: Flexi Fabric Fidget is a fully articulated 3D printed structure designed to mimic the behavior of real fabric while functioning as a tactile fidget object. It consists of a dense network of small interlinked elements that are printed in place without being fused together, allowing the model to move freely straight off the build plate. The result is a flexible, drapable surface that can bend, fold, and adapt to different shapes, providing a satisfying tactile fidget experience similar to handling real fabric. Features: • Fully print-in-place articulated structure • Dozens of small interlocking elements (non-fused) • Highly flexible and freely bendable • Fabric-like movement and drape • Tactile fidget experience • No supports required • Works with single-color or multi-color printing • Clean and reliable geometry optimized for slicing Printing: • No supports needed • Use good bed adhesion to prevent early layer shifting • Let the print cool down before removal to avoid stressing joints Dimensions: Keychain size: 52x52x2.5 mm + 8mm ring Small size: 52x52x2.5 mm Medium 1 size: 100x100x2.5 mm Medium 2 size: 170x170x2.5 mm Large size: 230x230x2.5 mm Also check out the Impossible Passthrough Double Helix Fidget: If you enjoy this Flexi Fabric Fidget model, you may also like the Impossible Passthrough Double Helix Fidget . It is a different type of fidget — The double helix itself is a static structure. Inside it, a continuous internal channel forms an impossible passthrough path where the inner shapes slide through the helix, creating the illusion that they pass through solid geometry while moving smoothly along the spiral. It’s a good way to compare two very different mechanical layouts. Twisty Fidget Cylinder is available here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2448208-impossible-passthrough-double-helix-fidget
