Model Overview & Print Notes

See link for a variant that can be hand-cranked or motorised! This elegant 3D-printed marble run is inspired by the Hilbert Curve —a famous recursive fractal. It's a compact, mesmerising track that brings mathematical beauty to life. Designed for 9mm marbles (or ball bearings), it works as well with smaller sizes down to 5mm. (scaling the model down is also an option)   The model is print-in-place, requires no supports, has a footprint of 160 x 160 and prints in about 6.5 hours using ~300g of filament.   Note: Decreasing the layer height will improve the slope of the model, and will make it look better. Keep in mind that many top layers, or a more dense infill near the top, are needed to support the surface in that case.
