Model Overview & Print Notes

The foldable car series is experimenting with the limitations of the structure that can be realized with foldable car and introduces a new structure every time. This folding car was produced by DeLorean MOTOR COMPANY, but it is a misfortune car, Delorean, which has been discontinued due to a lot of defects and financial failures of the body. Although the car has failed, it is still popular among people, with many appearing in movies and games. The first thing that I had to worry about when designing this car in a folding way was that of a Gull-wing door. After a long printing experiment, the inside of the door was designed to be printed using the bridge phenomenon. And I made a locking device so that the door can be locked in the open state. This car was particularly popular because it appeared as a time machine in the movie . So we have designed various structures to turn into Time Machine. It is the structure of the wheel which produced the most time. The wheels can rotate sideways while they roll. Engine room with double cover structure is designed to be removable from outside engine room cover so that time machine can be replaced. However, the engine room cover on the inside can be opened and closed without being assembled. If there are loose parts except moving parts, it is recommended to glue them. ※ This design is not recommended for people with a lot of moving parts and not a lot of 3D printing experience. ※ Print as large as possible to get better results.
