Model Overview & Print Notes
### *Inspired by “Flora” by Nils Möllerberg (1930)* --- # ✨ Designer’s Note > “Technology changes. Human appreciation for beauty does not.” I personally printed my own version of this sculpture on my **Saturn 16K resin printer**, and the final result came out incredibly smooth and detailed. To achieve the metallic finish shown in the photos, I also performed an **electroplating process** around the surface of the statue, giving it a much more authentic bronze-like appearance inspired by traditional sculptures. Seeing classical-inspired artwork recreated through modern digital fabrication was honestly one of the most satisfying parts of this project, and I hope you enjoy printing it as much as I did. — **Elara Wynn** --- # Description > *“From digital clay to timeless form.”* **Sylva** is my personal artistic reinterpretation inspired by the classical sculpture **“Flora”** created by the Swedish sculptor **Nils Möllerberg** in 1930. This is **NOT** a direct replica of the original artwork. Instead, it is a fully reworked version sculpted and adapted by me specifically for modern **FDM 3D printing**, preserving the organic aesthetic and timeless elegance of classical Scandinavian sculpture while making it accessible to makers around the world. --- ## Model Features The entire model was optimized with large-format printing in mind: * Smooth printable surfaces * Balanced organic geometry * Clean transitions * Support-friendly forms * Decorative museum-style aesthetics --- ## Artistic Vision > *“Ancient art reborn through modern tools.”* My goal with this project was to explore how modern digital sculpting and additive manufacturing can help revive appreciation for classical art and traditional decorative aesthetics. This piece was carefully redesigned as a printable artwork for hobbyists, artists, collectors, and makers who enjoy bringing large sculptural pieces to life through 3D printing. I hope you enjoy printing and displaying it as much as I enjoyed creating it. — **Elara Wynn** --- # Printing Notes * Recommended layer height: **0.16–0.24 mm** * Recommended material: **PLA / PLA Matte / PETG** * Large scale printing recommended for best detail reproduction * Can be sanded and painted for museum-style finish ## 3D Printing Settings Sylva — Classical Sculpture Reimagined for 3D Printing
