Model Overview & Print Notes

I made this **Parallelogram** for a lesson with my class about quadrilaterals. I included the diagonals to aid the conversation about the properties of parallelograms including characteristics of sides and angles. I printed enough so that each student could have one in their hands while we talked about it and completed the worksheet. I made sets for other teachers too and they worked well! The vertices (corners) are slightly rounded so that the models would not be too sharp when handled by students. --- ## Mathematical Models * Find more models for mathematics in my [Math Surfaces, Solids, Etc. Collection](https://cults3d.com/en/design-collections/abbymath/math-surfaces-solids-etc). --- ## 3D Printing Settings The Parallelogram model is approximately 74 x 28 x 2 mm. I printed with 0.25 mm layer height, 2 perimeters, and 4 solid top and bottom layers so it prints with all solid layers. The cut diagonal is 0.75 mm deep into the model. It could easily be printed with 2 colors using a filament swap for a different look. For a solid parallelogram, increase the scale in the z-direction and cut the model at an appropriate height. --- ## Not for commercial use. No derivatives. See © link. ---
