Model Overview & Print Notes

These earrings are inspired by Glinda’s iconic crown from Wicked, designed to be elegant, regal, and easy to print. With this download you will receive one STL file containing the crown-shaped earring model, optimized for FDM printing. Dimensions Height: 1.5 cm (≈ 0.59 in) Diameter: 2.5 cm (≈ 0.98 in) Successfully test-printed on a Bambu A1. Curving Instructions To shape the crown into a circular form: Place the flat printed model onto a cone or support of the desired diameter. Heat gently with a hairdryer (or heat gun), taking care not to overheat and melt the plastic. When warm enough, carefully bend the model to follow the shape of the cone/support. Allow it to cool completely. Repeat heating and bending as needed until the desired shape is achieved. If necessary, trim excess ends and secure with superglue. Assembly The model includes a ring slot designed for easy attachment to standard jump rings and earring hooks. Assembly is quick and requires no glue (except for the optional trimming step). ## 3D Printing Settings Recommended Print Settings Printer type: FDM Layer height: 0.10 mm (0,2 Noozle) Infill: 15% Supports: Yes Material: PLA The model prints best flat, with a Z-axis offset of 0.5 mm. No supports are required. For FDM printers, a 0.10–0.12 mm layer height is recommended to capture the fine details. Just add a jump ring and earring hook (not included) and they’re ready to wear.
