Model Overview & Print Notes
This educational 3D model represents a cross-sectional view of the human eye, designed to clearly demonstrate the main anatomical structures involved in vision. The model shows the eyeball in section, allowing visualization of the internal cavity and the relationship between the outer eye wall, retina, lens, iris, ciliary region, vitreous chamber, and optic nerve. The use of different colors helps distinguish the main anatomical layers and structures, making it easier for students to understand the organization of the eye. The open-section design provides a clear view of the internal anatomy of the eye while maintaining a simple and accessible layout for teaching. It is especially useful for explaining how light enters the eye, passes through the cornea and lens, and reaches the retina before visual information is transmitted through the optic nerve. ## 3D Printing Settings There is also a version with 0.2 mm tolerance between parts, designed for printing the components separately and assembling them afterward, as well as a version prepared for MMU or AMS multicolor printing.
