**For a better quality and easier to use version with more options and a ready to print pre-made option please use my v3 version of my Clamshell Style Kigurumi head base: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/fashion/kigurumi-head-shell-v3** AUGUST 12 2025 version 2.1 update: Updated to version 2.1 (Only blank solid face and headback have been updated.) - Fixed an issue where edges of original mesh clipped through the magnet wells. - Added a block to the top of the head that you can screw a real world hinge with hardware in place of the 3D Printed hinge. Starter pilot holes are added. Hinge block is built based on a 2" inch butt hinge. Screw options: - SUGGESTED: M3 x 12mm (Machine Screw) with matching nut to hold the screw in from the interior side. - #5x5/8" (Comes with the hinge linked above) If you must use a wood screw please try to use one that is 1/4" or 3/8" of an inch (Shorter than .3") so that the end of it stays within the added hinge block, preventing the pointed end from protruding out of it, and into the interior. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 21 2025 version 2 update: - Adds two new versions of the base head files with pre-mae latch or magnet closure system. DO NOT EVER WEAR ANY OF MY HELMET-LIKE DESIGNS WITHOUT VENTILATION HOLES CUT IN THEM. *THAT IS A VERY BAD IDEA.* Direct copy of my other kig mask, this one uses the least defined head so it can be used as a base for sculpting AND has a hinge on the top of the head so that the mask can close around the face for a more seamless look. The hinge can be hidden by a fiber wig. :) (Also included a slightly extended neck version for easier sculpting for artists if they need a bit more wiggle room with the mesh.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ You may still need to add ELASTIC STRAPS to hold the mask on to your head, and ADHESIVE to glue the parts together if not printed in one solid piece. (I recommend high temp hot glue, two part epoxy, or a PLA glue gun.) I also suggest using upholstery foam or styrofoam to hold the mask a bit up and away from your face. ------------------------------ SIZING: Please use the following measurements as a guide when printing, and measure the wearer's head prior to printing to ensure you get a good size for wearing, everyone's sizes are a little different. Especially if you have a wider or bigger head! DEFAULT SIZE: Small Adult - Suitable for a 21-22" head.
